This site provides independent electrotechnical NVQ learner guidance and practical tools maintained by Samuel Lloyd. It is not an official City & Guilds publication. The applicable centre and awarding-organisation requirements take precedence.
2. AI prompts and generated documents
The RA Coach and Document Builder supply instructions to paste into a third-party AI service. The prompts are hidden on-screen for ease of use but are not confidential or copy-protected. Outputs are working drafts; users must check factual accuracy, competence, legal and technical requirements and the latest standards. They are not independently approved site RAMS, programmes, certificates or NVQ assessment decisions.
3. Site work and approval
Risk assessments, method statements and programmes of works must be checked against actual site conditions and approved by an appropriately competent, authorised person before issue or use. Electrical work must be undertaken by people with the required competence and permissions. Do not rely on automatically generated text for safe isolation or hazardous operations.
4. Evidence and authenticity
Only record work genuinely performed, observed or documented. Do not fabricate signatures, witness statements, test results, photographs or retrospective records. Learners must confirm their own accounts, have permission to use site images, and comply with confidentiality, centre policies and relevant workplace restrictions.
5. Photo Evidence Builder
The Photo Evidence Builder is provided as a convenience. Work in progress is held in the browser and may be lost if device storage is cleared or unavailable. Export and safely retain regular backup ZIP copies. The operator is responsible for suitable secure storage of photos, backups and personal information.
6. External providers and links
ChatGPT, Microsoft Bookings, Stripe and other linked services have their own terms and privacy arrangements. Users choose whether to share information with them. Never paste confidential workplace or personal data into an external service without appropriate permission.
7. Availability and updates
Tools may change or be withdrawn and may contain errors. We do not guarantee fitness for every qualification pathway, site or individual purpose. Please notify us about any material issue.
